Happy 6th Birthday Bodi!

Today is Bodi's 6th Birthday! I can't believe he has been in our lives for that long; we just love having him as part of the family. We have not given Bodi the attention I am sure he desires lately but we still love him so much. He is our great protector, Payton's new punching bag, and our best friend. I can only imagine how much fun Bodi will have with the boys once they are older (and nicer to him). Happy Birthday Bodi! We love you.

Big Bro Update

Payton is keeping me very distracted from all the wonderful pregnancy experiences I am going through for the second time, which trust me, I am welcoming the distraction. He is full of energy, wonder who he gets that from. He is climbing, running, bullying Bodi, throwing toys, hitting balls, imitating everything Trav and I do, trying to find his words, humming nursery rhymes and just making me laugh with every new challenge he takes on. With his new found energy & curiosity, he has taken some falls and caused many self-inflicted wounds. Nothing he can't handle so far but definitely keeping us on our toes. He is the biggest flirt with women and such a comedian when there is a crowd. I am loving every minute of him. Here are some photos of the last week or so. Fell on his car which scraped his head, clawed himself in the eye and on the cheek. That was a rough day. But he is still happy as can be!
At the aquarium with Dad, cousins Lily & Mia and Mom & Shaunna. He still gets me with his laugh!

Baby Boy #2 Update

I feel bad that I haven't posted much about Baby Kal #2 thus far, so here is an update. I am currently 28 weeks along and so far baby boy is healthy and measuring perfectly. He is so active, just like Payton was. Sleeping is a challenge as well as getting comfortable but I guess that is all part of the job. We are still working on names and have a couple that we are trying out. It is fun to have Payton try to say the names and just get used to saying another name around the house. We have had a crazy year with moving, family things, and work that time is really flying by. I am getting so excited to meet this little guy every passing day.

I had a great conversation with my doctor yesterday at my 28 week appointment, which is putting me at ease as we approach this final countdown. She is going to work hard to be the doctor to deliver baby #2 since she was the allstar that handled my last crazy delivery. I know I am in good hands at Evergreen but it is reassuring to know that we can work out a delivery with her present.

Here is an utlra sound photo of baby #2. He was in an ackward position when we did the utlra sound a few months back so I only really got one side profile look at him.

Like Father like Son.

Grandpa Kal got the '65 Chevy Malibu running again after over 10 years of being stored at their house and our old house. Kal drove this car for many years and Travis drove this car for a few years in High School. He actually picked me up in this car for our first date in High School. So amazing to see our little boy sitting in it now. Long live the Malibu! :)

Happy Easter.
