If I could be like DAD

Payton has been so much fun lately. He is starting to say more words and imitates everything we do. He is a great helper with putting the dishes away and doing the laundry and he LOVES doing anything that his Dad does. It is pretty adorable. Enjoy the pictures from the past few weeks.

The Eagle & The Duck

This was right in front of Kal & Jeanie's house. Apparently the eagle made a couple dozen passes at this little duck until it was finally able to take shelter under their dock. I wonder if this is how they got the name duck!

Memorial Day Weekend in Gig Harbor

The Gaines & Gies' joined us in Gig Harbor for Granpa Kal & Grandma Jeanie's annual Memorial Day weekend bash. The kids played on the beach, had a boat ride and of course were the center of attention. There was plenty of grilling, finding crabs, beerzbee and good times.

Baby Shower Brunch

Thanks to my Sisters, Sister-in-law, and Mom for hosting a great baby shower for Baby Kal #2. We had a fun brunch with friends and family last Sunday morning. Lots of food, great company, and adorable gifts for our new little one arriving the first part of July. Can't wait for the little guy to meet all his wonderful Aunties and family. Thanks to everyone that attended. I don't have any pictures of the shower, but just wanted to send out a special thanks! Love you all!

Payton's Adventures

Over past week or so we have keeping busy; partly for Payton's entertainment and partly to keep Mom preoccupied. Payton has had a few play dates with his cousins Lily, Mia, Sienna, Sophie & Isabell; he's been playing with his new bubble maker; Dad gave him a Mohawk hair cut which lasted only for a few days; and we went down to Gig Harbor for a visit this past weekend.
