November -- Part 2
On Thanksgiving morning we woke up to 2 new inches of snow. It was so beautiful and rare around here to have a snowy holiday. We took our time getting going and then headed down to Gig Harbor for a wonderful Turkey Day with the Trav's side of the family. We went to Maleah & Chad's house (Trav's cousins) for a beautiful dinner. Payton had lots of kids and toys to play with so he was happy as can be. It was so much fun being with Trav's cousins, aunt & uncle, their extended families and of course with Jeanie and Kal. We Skyped with Leah and Matthew earlier in the day but missed them in the evening. On Saturday we went out to Angie & Ben's new house in Snohomish and then headed into the Valley to cut down a Christmas tree with the Fitzpatricks (Andrew, Carlie and crew). After a long hour and a half, Trav and I finally decided on a tree. We got it home and put it up with NO arguing at all this year. We were both very impresed with one another. The tree looks so great in our new living room. Payton and I made Christmas cookies and then Trav and Payton put together a gingerbread house. We loaded up on Christmas festivites the minute Thanksgiving Day was over.
