Kalamakis Boys.

Today we received the exiting news that baby two is a BOY!! The doctor said that he has a strong heartbeat and his measurments are putting him at a July 11th due date now. I am so happy to know that he is healthy. He was facing down so we didn't get a good profile shot of him but we did get to see his legs, arms, spine, heart and all the rest of his parts! Travis, Payton, Sue (my mom), Jeanie & Kal (Trav's parents) were all at the ultrasound. I am so glad they were able to come meet their grandson for the first time. It was a fun experience to share with them. We missed my Dad but he was the first one I called to tell him about his new baby grandson he would be welcoming in July.

I am thrilled to have another son! We are familiar with the drill of a boy and already have lots of boy clothes/toys/stuff so we don't have much to stress about as far as preparing for his arrival. I love the idea of having the boys so close in age. I know they will be the best of friends and I have a feeling we are going to have our hands full! With Travis, Payton, Baby Two, and Bodi; I still remain the reining Princess in my house and know my boys will take good care of me!

Were in!

Finally, I have a free minute to post a few pictures of our new home! We moved in the last weekend of January and are slowly getting settled. Each morning we have been getting up bright and early to check out the sunrise since we have a beautiful view to the East of the Cascade Mountains and off to the right we can see Mt. Rainier. Great way to start your day! We have plenty of space, which both Payton and Bodi are loving. Payton has mastered the stairs, with only one frightening, but non-injury, fall so far. We are just loving it and can't wait for everyone to see it. Last weekend we had some family and friends over to watch the Superbowl Game and it was such a great feeling to entertain in our new home. Thank you to everyone that helped us clean, paint, move and get settled into our new place. We appreciate all your help and we owe you. Hope everyone is doing well. Enjoy our picts. (I need to clean up the house before I take any pictures of the inside, so those to come).

Happy 30th Birthday Kel!

Kel is 7 months pregnant with baby #2 so she decided that she wants to have a big 31st birthday next year rather than a pregnant 30th bash this year. I am late with my post but I wanted to wish her a Happy 30th Birthday! Cheers to many more!
Also, Happy 1st Birthday to your little one Isabel! Love you girls! :)

We are moving!!

At the end of the month we will be moving into our new home in Kirkland! The paperwork is finally completed and signed, so it is ours! We have been in north Kirkland for almost five years and have been slowly outgrowing our current home. The new house is a great size and has lots of room for us to grow into as a family. The house has lots of clean up & repair work to complete before we move in, but Trav has been working hard these past few weeks. We were able to get in at the beginning of January to start our repair work and have had a family and friends cleaning and painting party so we are slowly getting there. I will post some before and after photos once we get in.
Below are some pictures of the house two years ago before the previous owner purchased it. The previous owner did not leave the home looking this beautiful but it will be back to this condition once we have completed our repairs/cleanup this month! I will post our pictures early next month!

Baby Boost

I am in love with Comcast OnDemand. They have a little kid program called Baby Boost Nursery Rhymes. Payton LOVES it! Now, I don't encourage TV watching nor does Payton sit still long enough to watch much TV, but whenever I put this show on he freezes and its like he is in a daze loving every song that comes on. There are lots of little kids, colors, shapes, animals, and more. I will usually put this on when I need a little time to get something done around the house or for 10 mintues of quiet time for me. If you have not yet discovered Baby Boost you have got to try it. Its fun for everyone! ;)

Delayed Christmas

I will join the rest of the bad bloggers out there and apologize for my personal poor blogging. Life has been too crazy, but at least its been a good crazy!

We did our annual traditional Christmas things throughout December including cutting a tree down and Santa pictures (see picts from December post). We attended our big family Christmas party that is growing bigger every year, at least 80 people there this year, including 5 new babies! We had Friends Christmas at the Gies', which I don't have any pictures of so send me some friends. This year we got all the baby cousins (minus little Sophie) and went on an outing to the Cougar Mountain Zoo. They had a reindeer exhibit and Santa was there; always fun to get out of the house with all the babies for a new adventure. On Christmas Eve we went down to Trav's Grandpa Tom's house in Tacoma for the evening of lots of family, which again didn't have my camera for so need some pictures (it must be my pregnant brain taking over). Then stayed the night in Gig Harbor with Jeanie and Kal and had a fabulous Christmas morning with the five of us. We missed Leah since she is in France but we Skyped with her for a few so we got a taste of her being with us for a little while at least. After breakfast and presents we headed back to Kirkland for dinner at my Parents with my Dad's side of the family, which was delicious and overloaded with more family.

This year my immediate family was all over the place for Christmas Day so we got together before Christmas and all opened presents as a family. The best part for me was watching the kids open their presents; my parents expressions for their present was pretty good too. :)

This Holiday Season was so fun for us, especailly with Payton. I can't believe there will be two little ones with us next year! I hope you all enjoyed your time with family and friends. We missed those we could not see. Love you all!
