When we got into town we headed to the store for a beer run and filled an entire shopping cart with beer, wine and my six pack of non-alcohol Becks. The first beers were cracked around 1:30 PM once we got to Andrew's apartment. I soberly watched from side which was just great, while Andrew and his roommates, Steven & Levi, shared some fun stories about their college days! That night we went to Rancho Veijo for a good Mexican dinner. Around 8:30 PM I was ready for bed. I think I set a new record for calling it a night that early in
Andrew's graduation ceremony was at 8:00 AM the next morning, so we meet him outside of Beasley Coliseum and snapped a few pictures with him before it started. I was so excited for him and SO proud of him! He graduated in the Construction Management program and everyone in their department wore hardhats rather than the traditional commencement hats! It was a great touch!
At the beginning of the commencement ceremony all of the graduates walk into the Coliseum with their department. I had forgotten what an exciting moment it was! Lots of fun memories came flooding back and I just remember thinking that this is such a bigger moment than I ever remembered it to be! Andrew said that it was a pretty big rush walking in and having everyone cheering for you! This is a big life accomplishment!
We packed Andrew up and moved him home on Sunday and he started his new job on Monday morning! He is such a go-getter! Andrew and Carlie are getting married on June 21st in
I am so proud of Andrew! He has accomplished so much already at such a young age. He is so determined to get it done and/or make it happen. Last summer, without any training, he decided that he was going to climb

Kate...Thank you very much for the kind words. I also owe you a thank you for being such a great role model. If it wasn't for you I would have never went to WSU and wouldn't be the same person I am today. Thanks for showing me the path.... -Andrew
