This past weekend I celebrated my birthday with Travis and my family! On Saturday, we drove down to Gig Harbor to visit with Trav's parents and to see his grandma Florence and Aunt Kathy who were in town from Moses Lake. We had such a nice visit with them. Jeanie made a delicious brunch, we watched baby Payton on the ultrasound video and then they all sang Happy Birthday to me. It was so nice and thoughtful!! We had a fun time seeing Grandma Florence and Aunt Kathy!
For my "birthday celebration", Travis took me to the Zoo on Sunday! It was a so much fun, especially since neither of us had been there in such a long time. We walked around the Woodland Park Zoo for a few hours and saw orangutans, bears, jaguars, and much more. We released the inter-child in us for the morning and had a great time together! Trav makes me laugh! :)
Travis got me a new camera for my birthday, so we put it to good use too!
After the zoo we went to Pike Place Market and had lunch at Cutters, such good food!! Then we walked around the market for a little while. There was live music and so many fun vendors all over. It was great to get out and do something different than the normal Sunday festivities.
On Monday night, my actual birthday, we went over to my parents for dinner with my family. It was nice to be around all of them. They are so supportive! :)
