The weekend started off early for Trav and I. We flew into Boise on Thursday morning with Hillary and Brad. My bag didn't show up when we did but it eventually made its way into Boise later that evening, thank goodness!! The boys headed straight out golfing for the afternoon. My mom and I went shopping and explored the town while Hillary stayed at the hotel and worked. Boise is such a cute little city! That afternoon more of the family started arriving in town. We all meet for dinner at a little brew house down at the bottom of Bogus Basin. Carlie gave the restaurant a heads up that there would be a lot of us but I don't think they realized that 60 members from Andrew and Carlie's family would be taking over their restaurant. It was great service despite the crowd! After we had dinner we headed to an Irish bar (fitting for the Fitzpatrick's and Lynch's) down in Boise where everyone let loose and had a great time!
The next morning the family had a rafting trip planned, so they all got up early and headed out for the river. Since I could not go rafting, Trav, Angie, Ben and I walked around and got some lunch together. Once everyone returned from the rafting trip we headed up to Bogus Basin which is where the wedding rehearsal and reception was to be held. Our entire family stayed in condos at the Pioneer Inn and took over the top of the mountain! The rehearsal dinner was that evening up on the mountain and then there was a big hot-tub-after-party following the dinner which went on into the early hours of the morning!
Luckily the morning of the wedding everyone had survived and were up for one more BIG night of partying! The day of the wedding the girls got ready down in Boise and the boys got ready up on the Mountain at the condos. Everyone made there way down the mountain to the church in Boise around 5 PM. Carlie looked stunning and Andrew looked so handsome!!! They are the cutest little Barbie and Ken couple!! I love it! The church and ceremony were fabulous and the wedding party was swept away at the end of it all in a stretch hummer limo!! Riding in style!
After the ceremony everyone made the trip back up the mountain (15-20 miles up a switchback hill, but it was worth it)! The reception started and the party began once again! Andrew and Carlie both looked like they were having the best time ever! I know that everyone had so much fun and loved being there to support Andrew and Carlie!
I am so proud of both of them! They are such a wonderful couple together and such strong people individually!! I am so thankful to have another great Sister!! Congrats to you both Mr. & Mrs. Fitzpatrick! Love you! :)
