The countdown has officially begun (unofficially it began 8 months ago). Only 8 more weeks until baby Payton is here!! Trav and I are getting so excited. I have been super busy with getting things organized with work and around the house, so we are able to enjoy the baby's arrival. This last month we have been working on the nursery and our crib finally arrived yesterday, so the room is coming together!! I have several projects on Trav's-to-do list before the baby arrives and with a busy August and September coming up, we will be working hard to get everything finished in time.
I have my next doctor's appointment on Tuesday and then we start going every two weeks, and then once a week until baby is here. Tomorrow we have our first of two parent/baby classes that we decided to take. Both classes are about five hours long and should be pretty educational. I will fill you in on anything exciting that we learn! ;)
I am truly excited for tomorrow because after our baby class Lynne, Kel and the girls are putting on a baby shower for baby Payton!! It is more of a Baby BBQ than a shower because the boys are invited too. It will be fun to spend some time with friends we haven't seen in a while because we have been hermitting at home for the last 8 months. :) I am so thankful for my amazing girlfriends and love that they are so supported of Trav and me! Wish my out-of-towner friends could be there, but I know they will be there in spirit! I will fill you in on Baby Shower (BBQ) details later!
