Last Tuesday we had another doctor's appointment. The baby is measuring right on schedule and everything looks healthy for the baby and me. We go back to the doctor next Tuesday and then will begin to go once a week until the baby arrives!!! I will give you more of an update as we go along but so far so good.
The heat the past few days was a challenge, but I got through it. I spent lots of time in front of the fan or in AC to keep cool and I drank a ton of water to stay hydrated. I have gotten extremely tired over the past few weeks so that is an additional challenge I am fighting through. I am kind of thankful for the break in the hot weather we are getting this week. I know, I know, we all want nice weather in Seattle and once we get it we complain about it. Typically I wouldn't be complaining but this summer I have an excuse! ;)
On Saturday we attended our first baby class at Evergreen hospital (I wasn't feeling good last week so we ended up not going; this weekend was our first and only class). It was very educational. We learned a lot about different situations and interventions that could take place before and during the baby's arrival. We practiced different breathing techniques, saw a video on a cesarean, and then took a tour of the hospital. I was most excited for the tour and felt a bit of relief after seeing the birthing suite and where they would take you once you get to the hospital. Overall, I am glad we took the class, just makes everything a little more real!
