Baby Update...

Hi All! I wanted to fill you in on the latest baby update! I had a doctor appointment this morning and things are moving along!! I have been getting a lot of contractions lately and a have had a few other things going on that I told the Doctor about so she checked my cervix this morning. She noticed right away that I have dilated 1 cm already! She said that she wants me to go 37 weeks and since I am only 35 weeks right now, I need to mellow out! :) The doctor said that I need to lay low for the next two weeks, not doing anything physical or stressful. Once I reach 37 weeks then I am allowed to return to normal and gladly welcome little Payton anytime he wants to come after that! I am going to be taking some medication for the next two weeks to stop any contractions. The baby is right around 5lbs and measuring perfectly. His heart beat is healthy and both of us are doing great! Just sounds like baby Payton is ready to come and play, but he needs a little more time with Mom!! :) Trav and I are so excited for Payton to be here, but we are willing to wait a few more weeks or until he is ready to come!

This weekend we were planning on traveling to Brooke & JD's wedding in Idaho but the doctor says I need to stay close to home just in case. I am bummed about not being able to be there with Brookie, but she is so great and totally understands! This is one of three weddings we will be missing or missed this month. The others being Shelby & Rich's wedding on September 27th in San Diego and Trav's cousin Hanna & Joel's last weekend in Moses Lake. We love you all and wish we could be there for your special days but we have to make sure baby Payton is taken care of!! :)
